SoundSec has been registered with the SIA since 10th April 2003 and continues to work closely with the SIA which has evolved into the governing body regulating the Security Industry in the UK.

Since the Approved Contractors Scheme (ACS) was made available to security companies by the SIA, in 2006 SoundSec was successful in being one of the first companies to achieve the status of Approved Contractor and has renewed this status each year with the required annual company evaluation.

SoundSec’s Managing Directors attend all seminars offered by the SIA, whilst always keeping updated with licensing and other related ACS issues. Company Directors have provided "Good Practice" presentations at the SIA’s Approved Contractor quarterly meetings.
